WANTED
SINGER WANTED as live garnish. Must lubricate jagged voice samples while the chattering crowd hushes like ebbing rain against my desperate distorted whining violin. Must balance the deep groan — the cello as it vibrates through the stage, through your legs, body, arms, tightening your throat — Can you sing with a clenched craw? Must be resistant to belligerent gothic toe-stepping bassist — his hash slash beer breath. Must have ability to hold vibrato during drummer’s rigorous off-beat toms; the asynchronous delayed electric guitar grit as it unites with the rhythm. But don’t upstage me.
